Base Salary
$70k - $100k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, evaluate, debug, and maintain embedded software and firmware for military and aerospace markets.
- Develop and maintain embedded Linux board support packages, bootloaders, kernels, package management, and system/application configurations.
- Develop and maintain shell scripts, Python scripts, and C/C++ code for system configuration, automation, and application development.
- Collaborate with internal team members to resolve software and system issues.
- Create version description documents and software releases according to established procedures.
- Perform code maintenance, debugging, and updates in an evolving design environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related technical field.
- Three years of embedded software engineering experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in C, C++, Bash, and Python scripting languages.
- Experience with HDL/RTL for FPGA design, testbench development, and simulation is strongly preferred.
