Base Salary
$315k - $560k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement large-scale infrastructure systems for AI training and deployment.
- Identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks affecting scientific capabilities.
- Develop robust evaluation frameworks for measuring progress towards scientific AGI.
- Build scalable VM/sandboxing/container architectures for AI tasks.
- Collaborate to translate experimental requirements into production-ready infrastructure.
- Develop large scale data pipelines for language model training.
- Optimize training and inference pipelines for efficient reinforcement learning.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering with expertise in distributed systems.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative work style.
- Deep knowledge of performance optimization techniques for high-throughput ML workloads.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proven track record of building large-scale data pipelines and distributed storage systems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure challenges in production.
- Experience collaborating with researchers to scale experimental ideas.
