Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements analysis and create sustainable tests with acceptance criteria for each requirement.
- Define and communicate test scope across phases of the test lifecycle.
- Coordinate with Test Architects to develop a system-wide test strategy.
- Manage and maintain test plans, dependencies, and constraints.
- Support development and test teams in defining suitable test environments and applications.
- Drive test automation across all stages of the testing lifecycle.
- Perform root-cause analysis for critical and recurring issues identified in tests and customer cases.
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of the ABB 800xA System.
- 6–8 years of experience in ABB 800xA deployment, engineering, and operations.
- Experience applying cybersecurity to industrial automation offerings.
- Experience with test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with industrial automation systems and protocol verification and validation.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle, white-box and black-box testing methodologies, Scaled Agile, and continuous integration.
- Azure Cloud, RHEL, and Kubernetes experience is an added advantage.
- Systematic analytical and problem-solving skills and experience working with globally distributed teams.
