Responsibilities
- Architect, design, configure, administer, migrate, and continuously improve SharePoint Online and Project Server/Project Online solutions.
- Design SharePoint site and information architectures, permissions models, metadata, libraries, lists, workflows, search experiences, templates, and project sites.
- Develop, deploy, govern, and support SharePoint Framework custom web parts, extensions, and related SharePoint Online customizations.
- Establish SDLC practices for SharePoint Framework development, including source control, peer review, testing, packaging, release management, and documentation.
- Develop and support Power Apps and Power Automate solutions for business-critical process automation.
- Own Microsoft Power Platform governance, including environments, connectors, data policies, DLP, security, lifecycle management, deployment, and support models.
- Administer Microsoft 365 collaboration services including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, and Microsoft Whiteboard.
- Use PowerShell and other automation tools for provisioning, permissions management, auditing, reporting, migration, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain secure, compliant, and supportable collaboration environments through permissions, sharing controls, monitoring, auditing, classification, retention, and governance.
- Integrate SharePoint, Power Platform, Project services, Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft Graph, Azure services, APIs, and third-party tools.
- Support Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI governance, and emerging AI-enabled productivity initiatives as needed.
- Serve as a senior escalation point, perform root-cause analysis, coordinate remediation, and support after-hours incidents, maintenance, security events, and production changes.
- Create technical documentation and runbooks, provide training and mentoring, and coordinate technical work without direct supervisory responsibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience may be considered.
- Five to eight years of progressively responsible experience in collaboration platform administration, architecture, development, or related Microsoft 365 technology roles.
- Senior-level experience with SharePoint Online architecture, administration, development, deployment, migration, governance, and support.
- Experience with Project Server or Project Online architecture, configuration, administration, support, or integration.
- Experience developing SharePoint Online solutions with SharePoint Framework, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, or related technologies.
- Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Platform governance, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, PowerShell, and Microsoft 365 environments supporting more than 1,000 users.
- Experience with formal SDLC practices, Microsoft 365 migration tools, large-volume cloud collaboration migrations, and secure, regulated, high-availability, or compliance-driven environments.
- Familiarity with FedRAMP-compliant SharePoint Online or Microsoft 365 environments.
- Preferred experience includes Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, DLP, retention, sensitivity labels, audit and compliance configuration, Copilot, Copilot Studio, Proofpoint, Exchange Online, Azure DevOps, Git, Microsoft Graph, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Dataverse, custom connectors, APIs, Intune, DISA STIGs, accessibility, Section 508, .NET, Visual Studio, JavaScript, jQuery, web services, and release governance.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert, Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate, Power Platform Functional Consultant or Developer Associate, and Azure Administrator Associate.
