Base Salary
$159k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Participate in architectural reviews and threat models for identity systems and authentication flows.
- Conduct security code reviews of OAuth, SAML, and OIDC protocol implementations.
- Develop and maintain Python automation for security audits and compliance reports.
- Improve access management infrastructure and consult on FIDO2, passwordless authentication, and SSO deployments.
- Analyze detection alerts and investigate identity security events.
- Communicate security findings and recommendations to service teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
Requirements
- 3+ years of programming experience in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .NET, C++, or a similar object-oriented language.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience with scripting, programming, and security code review.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience troubleshooting system issues, analyzing logs, or automating tasks with command-line tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Knowledge of HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, industry security vulnerabilities, and remediation techniques.
- Preferred: 2+ years of combined experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, or network security.
- Preferred: experience with AWS products and services and security activities across software development lifecycle phases such as design review, threat modeling, secure code review, and security testing.
