Responsibilities
- Build and evolve digital solutions supporting IKEA product development.
- Develop and maintain software applications, services, integrations, and cloud-based solutions.
- Contribute across discovery, design, delivery, testing, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders across locations and time zones.
- Support software quality through code reviews, testing, automation, and modern engineering practices.
- Share knowledge, support colleagues, and contribute to continuous improvement and team learning.
Requirements
- Experience developing modern software solutions and solving technical challenges.
- Experience with version control, testing, automation, and continuous delivery practices.
- Interest in cloud technologies and modern application development.
- Strong communication, collaboration, active listening, knowledge-sharing, and coaching skills.
- Curiosity, willingness to learn, ownership, and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, integrations, backend services, infrastructure as code, automation, DevOps practices, relational or document-based databases, or distributed global teams is a plus.
- Ability to work in a way that reflects IKEA values and cultural principles.
