Base Salary

Responsibilities

  • Provision, configure, maintain, and secure infrastructure supporting integration platforms, APIs, data pipelines, and shared services.
  • Design and build Azure cloud infrastructure using AKS and other Azure services according to infrastructure-as-code principles.
  • Administer and harden Linux environments through patching, package management, service configuration, and security controls.
  • Manage LDAP, Active Directory, service accounts, certificates, SSO integrations, and related IAM services.
  • Configure DNS, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, proxies, and API gateway networking for integration workloads.
  • Collaborate on CI/CD infrastructure, build agents, artifact repositories, and deployment automation for containerized workloads.
  • Support application and data engineering teams with environment provisioning, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
  • Participate in on-call production support and act as an escalation point for infrastructure incidents.
  • Maintain monitoring, alerting, logging, metrics, and uptime monitoring for integration services.
  • Lead disaster recovery planning, backup procedures, and restoration of integration platform environments.
  • Set technical direction, document standards, mentor engineers, and translate application hosting requirements into platform capabilities.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience provisioning and managing Azure cloud infrastructure, including networking and security configuration.
  • Experience building or scaling shared platforms for multiple teams, including tenant isolation, resource governance, and self-service or templated onboarding.
  • Experience establishing CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of containerized workloads using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.
  • Experience embedding container scanning, vulnerability scanning, policy enforcement, and compliance gates into deployment pipelines.
  • Experience administering Linux/Unix systems, including RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu, systemd, package management, and performance tuning.
  • Advanced shell and Python scripting experience for automation, monitoring, and operational work.
  • Hands-on IAM experience with Active Directory, LDAP, certificate management, and SSO integration.
  • Strong networking fundamentals covering TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, load balancing, firewalls, and proxies.
  • Working knowledge of REST APIs for infrastructure automation and tool integration.
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Azure Monitor.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional work experience.
  • Ability to set technical direction, mentor engineers, document standards, and communicate technical constraints to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience with ArgoCD, Flux, Helm, WSO2 infrastructure, Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, private endpoints, network security groups, HashiCorp Vault, Azure Key Vault, Ansible, Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Shibboleth, cloud platform certifications, FinOps, and operational handoff documentation.
