Senior Backend Engineer ((Python / Go)

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable backend microservices primarily using Go.
- Own services across design, build, deployment, on-call operations, incident response, and scaling.
- Define API specifications and integration points with product managers and frontend teams.
- Deploy, monitor, and scale services efficiently in Kubernetes.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and maintain high availability and performance.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, planning, and continuous improvement of development processes, tooling, and infrastructure.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional backend software development experience, with significant experience building and operating production microservices.
- Advanced Python expertise with FastAPI, Flask, or Django and expert Go experience building high-concurrency microservices.
- Expertise designing, developing, and deploying APIs and working with distributed systems.
- Experience with Keycloak, API authentication, JWT, MySQL, ClickHouse, Redis, Kubernetes, Docker, and comprehensive testing.
- Experience using AWS, Azure, or GCP for deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
- Demonstrated ownership of one or more services end to end, including design, deployment, on-call support, incident fixes, and scaling.
- Strong system-design, debugging, performance-tuning, Linux, container-runtime, observability, CI/CD, security, and reliability skills.
- Datadog experience is required, or equivalent experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and ELK.
