Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure architectures for cloud, data, and AI initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership for cybersecurity requirements across cloud platforms, data environments, and AI systems.
- Translate business needs and security requirements into scalable, secure solution designs.
- Evaluate, select, and integrate cybersecurity technologies for cloud, data, and AI environments.
- Conduct solution-level risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure designs comply with architecture governance, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support engineering and delivery teams with implementation and validation of secure solutions.
- Contribute to incident response planning and solution resilience against cyber threats.
- Communicate solution architecture concepts to technical teams, project teams, and senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- At least 8 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in cybersecurity solution architecture.
- CISSP and CISM certifications.
- Experience designing secure solutions in complex, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
- Hands-on expertise in cloud security, data protection and privacy, and AI/ML security.
- Experience with model security, adversarial AI mitigation, and secure AI pipelines.
- Strong product selection and evaluation skills for cloud security, data security, and AI security solutions.
- Knowledge of CSA CCM, NIST, Azure Well-Architected Framework, data governance, privacy-by-design, GDPR, NIS Regulations, ISO 27001, and DORA.
- Ability to collaborate with architecture, engineering, data science, AI, and delivery teams.
- Strong solution design, communication, collaboration, influencing, and commercial awareness skills.
- Current knowledge of cyber threats, attack techniques, and defensive technologies relevant to UK and international operations.
