Responsibilities
- Train and implement deep learning models for the core robotics product.
- Iterate on model architectures and training pipelines to improve real-world performance.
- Support deployment of trained models to customer, on-site, and edge environments.
- Collaborate with the ML and robotics team on the technical roadmap.
- Run experiments and reproducible evaluations to drive model improvements.
- Work on site in Munich as part of the local engineering team.
Requirements
- Entry-level or junior experience training deep learning models using Python and PyTorch.
- Proficiency with Python and PyTorch for model development.
- Experience with Docker and a Linux command-line environment.
- Familiarity with Slurm or other cluster scheduling and cloud deployment workflows.
- Experience with ONNX or similar model export tools and interest in edge deployment.
- Background or strong interest in computer vision, robotics, or physical systems deployment.
- Familiarity with data versioning tools such as DVC.
- Fluent English; German is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset and rigorous experimentation habits.
- Willingness to work on site in Munich.
