Responsibilities
- Build and enhance customer-facing and internal web applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing, and Backend teams to deliver intuitive, accessible, and high-performing user experiences.
- Improve reusable components, shared libraries, frontend platform capabilities, and engineering practices.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and accessibility using data, experimentation, and customer feedback.
- Participate in technical design, implementation, code reviews, testing, CI/CD, observability, and continuous improvement.
- Take ownership of work and identify opportunities to improve applications, developer experience, and ways of working.
Requirements
- Commercial experience building modern web applications with React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
- Understanding of component-based architecture, state management, responsive UI development, and accessible frontend engineering.
- Experience collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver customer experiences.
- Interest in writing clean, maintainable code and improving performance, reliability, and developer experience.
- Familiarity with testing, Git, CI/CD, and Agile delivery.
- Knowledge of technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, SSR, crawlability, structured data, indexation, and semantic HTML is a bonus.
- Experience with GraphQL and observability tools such as Honeycomb or Grafana is a bonus.
- Experience with fintech, regulated industries, fast-growing technology businesses, shared libraries, design systems, or platform tooling is a bonus.
