Responsibilities
- Own and operate the trade and position platform end-to-end.
- Build and maintain connectors to centralized exchanges and on-chain sources.
- Develop and extend the Python + SQL data model for trade and account flows.
- Deliver trusted data outputs for Finance, Operations, and the trading desk.
- Improve reconciliation workflows to resolve discrepancies.
- Build robust data quality controls with clear lineage and documentation.
- Partner with Finance and Ops to translate business rules into testable logic.
- Contribute to the broader data platform including Spark and ML tooling.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4-7 years in software or data engineering, ideally with exposure to trading systems.
- Strong production Python skills, ideally with Spark/PySpark experience.
- Strong SQL skills with hands-on MySQL and PostgreSQL experience.
- Experience integrating with external APIs (REST/WebSocket).
- Familiarity with trade lifecycle concepts.
- A controls mindset focused on data quality and documentation.
- Proven ability to own production systems end-to-end.
- Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
- Fluency in Chinese and English.
