Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Android applications for technicians installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hotel access systems.
- Build robust, usable field workflows with offline-first functionality and resilient error handling.
- Use Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android architecture patterns.
- Collaborate across mobile, backend, firmware, product, and UX teams.
- Write clean, testable, maintainable code and contribute to automated testing and CI/CD.
- Own and deliver features from beginning to end while influencing architecture and technical direction.
- Use AI tools responsibly for development, testing, debugging, and documentation, including critically reviewing generated output.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of modern Android development experience with demonstrated end-to-end feature ownership.
- Strong Kotlin skills and experience with Jetpack Compose and Jetpack libraries.
- Good understanding of coroutines, Flow, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with MVI or MVVM architecture patterns.
- Experience with automated unit, UI, and integration testing.
- Daily experience using AI tools in software development, including writing structured instructions and critically validating generated logic and security.
- Fluent Swedish and English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Ability to take ownership and collaborate across technical domains.
- Preferred experience with Bluetooth/BLE, NFC, Zigbee, Thread, or Matter.
- Preferred experience building secure or offline-capable applications.
- Preferred experience with Kotlin Multiplatform, backend/API design, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred knowledge of USB, protocol handling, cryptography, AES, and encryption/decryption.
