Base Salary

$92k - $171k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust Java applications that meet business requirements.
  • Deliver high-performance and scalable solutions for two government programs.
  • Work on an Agile team executing two-week sprints and three-month increment deliveries.
  • Integrate applications with RESTful APIs, microservices, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
  • Use Git-based version control workflows and participate in software development lifecycle activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in peer reviews and feature iterations.

Requirements

  • Level 2: Bachelor’s degree in science with 2+ years of software development experience, 0+ years with a master’s degree, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Level 3: Bachelor’s degree in science with 5+ years of software development experience, 3+ years with a master’s degree, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at the time of application.
  • Thorough understanding of the Java programming language.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, version control, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile processes.
  • Preferred: CompTIA Security+ certification and experience with Linux, cross-functional teams, peer reviews, and feature iterations.
