Responsibilities
- Define user and functional requirements for ADAS and automated-vehicle functions.
- Develop algorithms for perception, localization and mapping, route and trajectory planning, controllers, and HMI.
- Implement high-level control-layer software and modular, reusable embedded software designs with documentation.
- Create test cases and perform unit, module, and integration software testing.
- Perform version and configuration management activities.
- Build rapid prototypes and validate control layers in SiL, MiL, and mule vehicles.
- Support project management and contribute to control-strategy, sensor-validation, sensor-fusion, and system-tuning activities.
Requirements
- Degree in electronics, telecommunications, artificial vision, robotics, machine learning, or a similar field.
- Fluent English and Spanish.
- Additional languages are valued.
- Valued competencies include control-strategy proposal, sensor-performance validation, sensor-data-fusion validation, and system application and tuning.
