Base Salary
$137k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, maintenance, testing, documentation, and support of complex business applications in Snowflake or Databricks environments.
- Develop solutions using Python and SQL and optimize application and data-platform performance.
- Guide architecture decisions, influence technology standards, and integrate emerging tools.
- Mentor developers and champion software development best practices.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and collaborate with business teams, technical teams, and vendors.
- Participate in Agile sprints and provide 24/7 application support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering and software development.
- Strong expertise in Python and SQL, including SQL-based business intelligence analytics.
- Proven experience with Databricks or Snowflake.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, middleware, APIs, and integration frameworks.
- Understanding of data modeling, databases, analytics solutions, ERP and CRM systems, and modern application architectures.
- Experience with performance optimization and development methodologies including Waterfall and Agile.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
