Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage software integration activities across multiple ECUs and vehicle systems.
- Maintain integration, diagnostics, and validation documentation.
- Coordinate software availability and verification and validation activities with system owners and software teams.
- Coordinate HiL, SiL, bench, and in-vehicle testing with vehicle test teams.
- Perform software flashing, configuration, and calibration using diagnostic and programming tools.
- Analyze integration and communication issues and perform structured root cause analysis.
- Use CANoe and CANalyzer to monitor, simulate, and debug automotive network behavior.
- Identify integration and release risks and track issues through closure.
- Provide on-site support during integration, test, and vehicle launch phases.
- Improve integration processes, tooling, and test coverage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Full UK or equivalent driving licence.
- Proficiency in software flashing, calibration, and diagnostics processes.
- Basic understanding of CAN, LIN, and Ethernet automotive communication protocols.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to interpret DBC and ARXML files is desired.
- Experience with automotive software integration, ECU-level validation, vehicle or system launches, and HiL, SiL, bench, and vehicle-level testing is desired.
- Experience with J1939, J1979, UDS, automated integration or regression testing frameworks, and vehicle diagnostics environments is desired.
- Hands-on experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, and associated network analysis tools is desired.
- Relevant automotive integration or validation certifications are advantageous.
