Responsibilities

Identify and address key security gaps in infrastructure and services.

Represent the security engineering discipline within the organization.
Engage with academic and industry conferences to promote Databricks' security initiatives.

9+ years of experience in Data Security or related areas, with expertise in Cryptography and other security domains.
15+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems with high availability.
Proven leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills to advocate for Data Security to senior leaders.
A bias to action and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related fields.
