Base Salary
$142k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, estimates, IT planning, risk technology, application development, model development, and implementation of new or revised systems.
- Manage and control development phases including analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and user and operational support.
- Design and develop data warehouse and ETL solutions using AWS Glue, AWS Athena, Airflow, Snowflake, Python, PySpark, and AbInitio.
- Analyze complex application and business process issues and recommend programming, system, security, and process solutions.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and install or assist with customer-facing systems.
- Define operating standards and processes, follow required procedures, and support post-implementation analysis.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to newer analysts and act as a subject matter expert for stakeholders and team members.
- Assess technology and business risk, support compliance, and escalate control issues transparently.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects and applying consulting or project management techniques.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, AWS Athena, Airflow, Snowflake, MongoDB, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Unix shell scripting, Python, PySpark, and AbInitio.
- Expertise in data warehouse and ETL design and development methodologies.
- Experience with mortgage origination and servicing systems and familiarity with infrastructure requirements.
- Subject matter expertise in at least one area of applications development and demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and changing priorities, with clear written and verbal communication.
- Knowledge of Big Data technologies, application compliance and regulatory requirements, and exposure to AI trends and technologies are preferred.
