Responsibilities
- Assist with building, maintaining, and improving infrastructure systems using Kubernetes and AWS.
- Monitor system performance and help troubleshoot production and staging issues.
- Improve observability using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Automate repetitive tasks and improve developer workflows with scripts and tools.
- Participate in on-call shadowing and incident reviews.
- Identify bottlenecks and improve system performance and scalability.
- Contribute to documentation and maintain operational runbooks.
- Explore AI and automation tools to improve engineering productivity.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Basic understanding of AWS or other cloud platforms, Linux systems, and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Golang, Python, or a similar programming language.
- Basic database knowledge, with MySQL or PostgreSQL familiarity preferred.
- Exposure to Docker and/or Kubernetes is preferred.
- Interest in distributed systems, reliability, and infrastructure engineering.
- Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required.
- Familiarity with Git, monitoring and logging tools, CI/CD concepts, automation, or developer tooling is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
