Responsibilities
- Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
- Develop scalable and efficient data pipelines using cloud-based data engineering and analytics platforms.
- Apply distributed computing and big data processing frameworks to application and data solutions.
- Use scripting and automation to streamline workflows.
- Address data security and compliance considerations in cloud environments.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, collaborate with and manage the team, and make team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and provide solutions for immediate and cross-functional problems.
- Lead process improvements to enhance team productivity and quality.
- Mentor junior team members and coordinate cross-functional communication for project alignment and timely delivery.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure Databricks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Databricks.
- Experience with cloud-based data engineering and analytics platforms.
- Strong knowledge of distributed computing and big data processing frameworks.
- Ability to design scalable and efficient data pipelines.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation.
- Understanding of data security and compliance in cloud environments.
- 15 years of full-time education.
