Base Salary
$158k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build infrastructure and products for the Databricks platform at scale.
- Develop serverless platform capabilities for big data, machine learning, and generative AI workloads across a multi-cloud environment.
- Build OS, container, networking, and cloud platform technologies that improve infrastructure security, efficiency, and reliability.
- Develop partner ecosystem toolkits and integrations for Databricks SQL.
- Build reliable, responsive, multi-language and multi-user notebook dataplane experiences for data science and AI/ML authoring.
- Create tools, frameworks, and platforms that improve service deployment, operations, observability, safety, scale, and developer experience.
Requirements
- BS or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least five years of production-level experience with Java, Scala, Golang, C++, or a similar language.
- Experience developing large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience working on a SaaS platform or with service-oriented architectures.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with security and systems that handle sensitive data.
