Responsibilities

  • Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, escalation processes, and closure of corrective actions.
  • Build runbooks, playbooks, escalation frameworks, intelligent alerting, distributed tracing, dependency mapping, continuous profiling, and real-user monitoring.
  • Apply AIOps, LLM-powered incident triage, anomaly detection, predictive alerting, automated root-cause analysis, and ML-powered capacity forecasting.
  • Remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities and integrate SAST, DAST, and SCA tools into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Design and maintain AWS cloud-native infrastructure using Terraform or Pulumi, including rightsizing, reserved-capacity planning, and cost anomaly detection.
  • Own Kubernetes cluster operations, including autoscaling, resource management, networking, and upgrades.
  • Operate AEM Author, Publish, Dispatcher, and AEM as a Cloud Service environments across development, staging, and production.
  • Monitor AEM health, optimize Dispatchers, manage DAM and OSGi configurations, and maintain replication queues.
  • Manage web architecture, Apache configuration, proxies, TLS, DNS, domain management, GTM, CDNs, and network services.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level SREs, define SRE standards, participate in architecture reviews and planning, and improve the on-call experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in computers, IT, electronics and communications, telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years of professional experience, including 5–7 years working with Java/J2EE frameworks.
  • Strong enterprise web architecture experience with Apache configuration, rewrite rules, redirects, regular expressions, reverse and forward proxies, and Apache Mod Proxy.
  • Hands-on SSL certificate, TLS, cipher-suite, and security-hardening experience.
  • Experience with domain management, DNS routing, subnets, zone management, network troubleshooting, vulnerability remediation, and interpreting penetration-test and vulnerability-assessment reports.
  • Experience with GTM, CDNs, Akamai, Cloudflare, AWS, Lambda, RDS, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with AEM or another enterprise content-management system; AEM experience is preferred.
  • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and SOAP-based web services.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and observability tools such as New Relic, Grafana, and Datadog.
  • Experience with Python, Shell scripting, or similar technologies for automation and operational-efficiency improvements.
  • Experience managing technology vendors, software licenses, support contracts, and third-party service providers.
  • Knowledge of SRE concepts, AEM as a Cloud Service, Cloudflare Workers, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace, or similar tools is valuable.
