Base Salary
$150k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own product projects from design through launch and post-launch outcomes.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to determine what to build and how to build it.
- Contribute to technical discussions and balance short-term delivery with long-term architecture.
- Maintain strong engineering practices, including code review, test coverage, and observability.
- Ship end-to-end features spanning databases, APIs, and user interfaces.
- Build backend services in Python and Go and the JavaScript frontend experiences that use them.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production software at scale.
- Strong Python experience, or deep experience in another backend language with willingness to work across Python and Go.
- Strong JavaScript experience with a modern frontend framework.
- Product-minded approach and concern for user problems as well as implementation.
- Comfort working with ambiguous problems and rapid change.
- Preferred: Django experience, AI/LLM product experience, and startup experience.
