Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and translate them into reliable software designs.
- Implement and test features across the ALMS stack.
- Integrate and configure subsystems within a cloud-native environment.
- Contribute to the on-time delivery of stable, production-ready software.
- Write clear documentation for owned features.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in the third or fourth year of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with a software focus.
- Java and/or JavaScript application development experience is desired.
- Linux-based software development experience is desired.
- Web application development experience is desired.
- Familiarity with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda is desired.
- Familiarity with Docker containers is desired.
- Strong initiative, communication, collaboration, and pragmatic risk-management skills are desired.
Benefits
- Hybrid work arrangement with four days on site each week, Monday through Thursday, in Richmond, BC.
- Estimated base pay range of $25 to $28.5 hourly.
