Responsibilities
- Review and validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Build automated testing, regression, evaluation, and test-harness infrastructure for engineering teams.
- Automate testing, code-review triage, and deployment checks and integrate them into CI release gates.
- Define release criteria, coverage expectations, and quality signals used by engineering teams.
- Build and deliver full-stack features and services through production deployment.
- Use AI coding agents with prompts, context, and checkpoints to produce shippable code.
- Develop observability, alerting, and guardrail dashboards for detecting and understanding failures.
- Protect member data and collaborate with Risk and Security teams.
- Share AI-assisted development and software-quality practices across the engineering organization.
Requirements
- 4+ years of full-stack development experience building web applications and services, or 6+ years for the senior level.
- Strong experience owning software quality through test strategy, automation frameworks, and CI-gated quality checks.
- Professional experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot, with judgment about their failure modes.
- Strong proficiency in one or more of TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or C#/.NET.
- Experience with a modern frontend framework such as React, Next.js, Vue, or Angular.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end automated testing using frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Jest, Vitest, or pytest.
- Experience with API design, microservices, and cloud-native delivery on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Working knowledge of containerization and CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools.
- Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol, prompt engineering for code, or AI evaluation frameworks is preferred.
- A formal computer science degree is a plus but is not required.
