Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end product experiences across user interfaces, APIs, and backend services.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and stakeholders to determine user requirements and deliver features.
- Apply engineering principles and learn new methods to solve complex problems and improve technical solutions.
- Develop, test, debug, and iterate on software features based on customer feedback.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring, and operations at scale.
- Manage time effectively and complete software projects in a cooperative team environment.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, with at least one semester or term remaining after the internship.
- Alternatively, currently pursuing a master's degree in computer science or a related technical field, with at least one semester or term remaining after the internship.
- Preferred: 1+ year of programming experience.
- Preferred: 6+ months of experience delivering projects in teams.
- Preferred: 1+ year of experience developing and applying data structures and algorithms.
- Coursework, projects, or prior experience building end-to-end applications is preferred.
- Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript and modern web frameworks such as React or Angular is preferred.
- Experience building backend services using C#, Java, Node.js, Python, or similar technologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, testing frameworks, accessibility principles, and modern software engineering practices is preferred.
