Base Salary
$135k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, and Python.
- Build scalable, performant backend APIs and services.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and improve engineering standards.
- Debug issues across frontend, backend, and deployment environments.
- Deploy and operate applications on cloud platforms.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and improve development and release workflows.
- Improve application observability, monitoring, and reliability.
- Take ownership of features from development through deployment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.
- Experience building web applications with modern frameworks such as React.
- Understanding of REST APIs, system design fundamentals, and application architecture.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Preferred qualifications include backend framework experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django; cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; Docker and Kubernetes experience; CI/CD and DevOps exposure; knowledge of distributed systems, asynchronous processing, or event-driven architecture; familiarity with Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk; and experience with GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
- Experience with data pipelines, APIs, or engineering workflows is a plus.
