Base Salary
$130k - $208k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and build frontend and backend product features that streamline debugging and monitoring for developers.
- Collaborate with open-source contributors and customers, solve their challenges, and incorporate feedback into the product roadmap.
- Improve HyperDX and ClickStack to efficiently analyze petabytes of observability data.
- Develop analysis tools that help engineers diagnose production issues.
- Scale the cloud-hosted platform for reliable, high-performance service delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably building developer tools.
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills, including Next.js frontend and Express backend development.
- Strong proficiency in React.js and proficiency in SQL for ClickHouse query generation.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Passion for open source and the developer community.
- Experience creating developer tooling and designing for developers.
- Bonus: experience with distributed systems, event ingestion pipelines, columnar databases, additional languages such as Python, Rust, or PHP, and SDKs.
