Responsibilities
- Engage customers during presales to gather requirements and explain Canonical technology.
- Develop solutions for prospective clients.
- Participate in selected Embedded Linux project delivery.
- Communicate market requirements to Canonical stakeholders and help refine generic solutions.
- Act as a customer advocate and trusted advisor.
Requirements
- Fluency in Mandarin and professional written and spoken English.
- Willingness to travel to China regularly and up to 30% of the time overall.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Extensive Linux experience, preferably with Debian or Ubuntu.
- Distribution and packaging experience, including deb and rpm.
- Solid embedded Linux experience, including Yocto or Buildroot.
- Fluency in at least one of Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to multitask and meet commitments.
- Customer engagement experience is a plus.
