Base Salary
$160k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support a petabyte-scale cloud database.
- Build high-quality and reliable software for large companies.
- Analyze and resolve performance and scalability bottlenecks.
- Implement solutions for identified problems.
- Design and implement query optimization and distributed data processing algorithms.
- Develop new service architecture for the Snowflake Data Cloud.
- Create tools to improve customer insights into workloads.
Requirements
- 2+ years of industry experience in software development.
- Fluency in Java or C++.
- Familiarity with Linux development environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with systems programming, including multi-threading and concurrency.
- Experience with implementation testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Masters or PhD preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in San Mateo, Bellevue, or Berlin.
