Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and core development of LLM- and multimodal-model-powered multi-agent systems.
- Design and implement long-running hosted agents, sandbox execution environments, hierarchical context management, persistent storage, and Function Calling orchestration.
- Deliver complex Agent and RAG systems end to end, from solution design through production deployment.
- Translate research and advances in memory, long context, planning, and tool use into production engineering solutions.
- Design highly concurrent, highly available backend and distributed systems for supply chain automation and inventory planning.
- Build and operate AI agent platforms supporting conversational and Slack-based operational interfaces, ordering automation, and LLM-based reorder-quantity optimization.
Requirements
- Experience architecting and developing complex multi-agent systems based on LLMs or multimodal models.
- End-to-end production delivery experience with complex Agent or RAG systems.
- Familiarity with memory, long context, planning, and tool-use technologies and the ability to apply research to engineering systems.
- Proficiency with one or more AI development frameworks, including LangChain, LangGraph, Deerflow, Claude Code, or Hermes.
- Strong Java or Python programming skills and experience designing and launching large-scale distributed systems.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming, concurrency, idempotency, rate limiting, and other backend engineering fundamentals.
- Strong software architecture and design-pattern knowledge, with the ability to read and understand open-source framework source code.
- High standards for code quality and system maintainability.
