Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance, transaction-oriented J2EE applications.
- Design and develop enterprise J2EE applications using Java and related enterprise technologies.
- Create technical design documents applying design patterns and best practices.
- Apply object-oriented analysis, design patterns, UML, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Work independently while collaborating effectively, presenting information, and managing multiple tasks.
Requirements
- Proficiency with JSP, Servlets, Struts 2.0, EJBs, JMS, web services, JDBC, XML, Oracle Database Server, and SQL Server.
- Experience with BEA WebLogic 11 and Apache web servers.
- Experience with object-oriented programming, analysis, Java/J2EE design patterns, UML, and enterprise J2EE application development.
- Strong software development lifecycle management, verbal and written communication, presentation, analysis, problem-solving, collaboration, and networking skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent education and work experience.
- 3–5+ years of relevant experience in systems analysis and application program development.
