Base Salary
$140k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and operate production Kubernetes clusters.
- Build and maintain secure, repeatable CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement and manage Istio service mesh architectures.
- Administer and optimize Google Cloud Platform infrastructure.
- Integrate and administer Jira workflows for engineering and release processes.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system reliability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure as code and automation standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- At least 3 years of hands-on production Kubernetes administration experience.
- At least 3 years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- At least 3 years of Google Cloud Platform experience.
- At least 2 years of experience implementing and managing Istio service mesh.
- Experience administering Jira for engineering workflow management.
- Preferred: experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools, container security and vulnerability management, microservices architectures, highly available distributed systems, and Google Cloud Professional certification.
