Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and support production-quality software across backend, frontend, APIs, and integration layers.
- Own features end-to-end from requirements understanding through deployment and production support.
- Use AI tools and assistants for requirements analysis, design exploration, code generation, automated testing, documentation, optimization, and release activities.
- Validate AI-generated outputs and ensure code is correct, maintainable, secure, performant, reliable, and resilient.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, design discussions, planning, reviews, retrospectives, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within the pod.
- Follow security, data protection, governance, auditability, and responsible engineering requirements.
- Develop and share practices for prompt design, AI evaluation, and safe AI-assisted software development.
Requirements
- Strong experience delivering production software systems as a software engineer.
- Strong foundations in data structures, APIs, testing, CI/CD, debugging, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Expertise in Java and Python, with experience in UI and backend technologies including React, PostgreSQL, and Neptune DB.
- Strong cloud experience, particularly with AWS.
- Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments.
- Practical exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Amazon Kiro, Claude Code, automated testing, and AI-supported documentation.
- B.Tech or B.E. degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience in small squads or pods with shared outcome ownership and familiarity with cloud platforms and modern delivery pipelines are desirable.
