Base Salary
$100k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical advisory support for the design, evaluation, and advancement of applications, tools, and workflows.
- Design, build, integrate, or evaluate AI/ML-enabled applications and software tools.
- Develop or assess LLM-based applications, RAG systems, prompt-engineering solutions, agentic systems, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Use or evaluate agentic and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, Haystack, or LlamaIndex.
- Apply software development fundamentals, APIs, data handling, and system integration practices.
- Assess technical tradeoffs and communicate recommendations to engineers and government stakeholders.
- Support defense, cyber, intelligence, or mission application development where applicable.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- An active TS/SCI security clearance and active polygraph are required.
- A current CI polygraph completed within the last seven years is required.
- Requires 18 years of experience with a bachelor's degree, including experience providing technical advisory support for application, tool, and workflow design, evaluation, and advancement.
- Requires a degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Requires experience designing, building, integrating, or evaluating AI/ML-enabled applications or software tools.
- Requires familiarity with LLM-based applications, RAG, prompt engineering, agentic systems, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Requires working knowledge of one or more agentic or orchestration frameworks, including LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, Haystack, or LlamaIndex.
- Requires experience with software development fundamentals, APIs, data handling, and system integration.
- Requires the ability to assess technical tradeoffs and communicate clearly with engineers and government stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Preferred qualifications include Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, vector databases, embeddings, model APIs, evaluation frameworks, agent testing harnesses, model hosting, inference pipelines, cloud-based AI development environments, secure AI development, data protection, AI assurance, and evaluation methodologies.
