Base Salary
$117k - $146k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build highly scalable and distributed services.
- Develop internal and public REST APIs and event-based systems.
- Collaborate with a geographically distributed team on product ideas.
- Continuously improve services that power Twilio’s top products.
- Own the product, managing SLA, on-call duties, and incident resolutions.
- Engage actively in team settings.
Requirements
- 2+ years of software development experience in an object-oriented language such as Java, Go, or C#.
- Experience designing, implementing, and integrating with REST APIs.
- Experience building and supporting mission-critical customer-facing systems.
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud provider services.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases like MySQL or DynamoDB.
- Understanding of asynchronous architectures and technologies such as Kafka or SQS.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with telemetry and observability tools.
