Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve mobile experiences for Spotify's consumer surfaces.
- Contribute to the architecture and development of reusable mobile foundations and frameworks.
- Support technical initiatives to improve app scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to shape product direction.
- Participate in code reviews and drive quality through testing practices.
- Engage in experimentation and prototyping for future content and listening experiences.
Requirements
- Experience developing Android applications using Kotlin.
- Knowledge of building maintainable, scalable, and well-tested software systems.
- Experience collaborating with engineers and cross-disciplinary colleagues.
- Commitment to code quality, testing, and documentation.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn beyond immediate expertise.
- Familiarity with SQL, analytics systems, or data engineering concepts is a plus.
