Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and maintain ESLint rules, plugins, and reusable configurations.
- Define and enforce coding standards across JavaScript and TypeScript applications.
- Identify code-quality, consistency, maintainability, and performance issues.
- Integrate ESLint and automated code-quality checks into CI/CD pipelines.
- Optimize linting processes for large codebases and monorepos.
- Troubleshoot ESLint configurations, parsers, plugins, and dependency issues.
- Support ESLint upgrades, migrations, and continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with front-end development teams to improve development and code-quality standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with ESLint and developing custom ESLint rules and plugins.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Good understanding of AST and static code analysis.
- Experience with modern front-end development, preferably React.js.
- Experience with Git and npm, Yarn, or pnpm.
- Experience integrating code-quality checks into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with large-scale JavaScript and TypeScript codebases.
- Preferred experience with large-scale e-commerce applications, Next.js, Node.js, Nx, Turborepo, Prettier, Stylelint, SonarQube, Husky, lint-staged, Jest, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
