Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of secure networking solutions across VPN, PKI, cryptography, and SD-WAN platform infrastructure.
- Architect scalable, resilient, and secure distributed systems.
- Drive cross-functional delivery of critical features and high-impact projects from conception through production release.
- Improve system performance, reliability, operational excellence, and customer experience at scale.
- Influence technical direction and lead innovation in secure networking and post-quantum security initiatives.
- Promote AI-assisted development tools such as Codex to improve productivity, automate workflows, accelerate debugging, and enhance software quality.
- Lead and mentor team members and promote standard engineering processes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of deep technical experience across networking and security domains involving large-scale, production-grade systems.
- Strong programming expertise in C/C++.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and distributed systems.
- Validated experience designing and architecting scalable, reliable systems.
- Track record of leading critical projects end to end and influencing technical direction across teams.
- Experience with embedded Linux software development.
- Good communication skills and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Preferred qualifications include IPSec VPN, Yocto-based build systems, cloud platform integration, PKI, certificate lifecycle management, network security, SD-WAN, secure connectivity, cryptographic systems and protocols, AI-assisted development tools, post-quantum cryptography, cryptographic agility, and networking or security standards such as RFCs.
