Base Salary
$213k - $263k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build scalable systems for training and fine-tuning large-scale models to evaluate driving behaviors.
- Provide guidance on architectural decisions and own large, complex systems.
- Contribute to the production and optimization of machine learning models for Waymo's fleet.
- Design and scale distributed systems covering the ML lifecycle.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to derive performance and system-level requirements.
Requirements
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in machine learning infrastructure, including developing and optimizing large-scale systems.
- Experience with machine learning tooling and frameworks like PyTorch, Jax, or TensorFlow.
- Strong expertise in distributed training techniques and optimization strategies.
