Responsibilities
- Own and develop production Python services, reusable libraries, and automation.
- Create FastAPI APIs and use Pydantic for schema design, validation, serialization, and error handling.
- Design conceptual, logical, physical, and metadata models, including data contracts, schema versioning, lineage, and data quality.
- Process large JSON, YAML, and SQL datasets with batching, retries, idempotency, caching, and performance optimization.
- Support testing, deployment, monitoring, and production operations.
Requirements
- Require 5–6+ years of recent, hands-on Python development experience.
- Require practical FastAPI and Pydantic experience, including API creation, schema design, complex validation, serialization, asynchronous processing, error handling, and testing.
- Require strong data modeling experience covering canonical models, data contracts, source-to-target mapping, schema versioning, lineage, and data quality.
- Require experience with large JSON, YAML, and SQL datasets and production engineering practices such as PyTest, Git, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
- Financial-services or regulated-domain experience is preferred.
