Full Stack Engineer - Sr Lead Security Engineer
JPMorgan ChaseResponsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, resilient software solutions using Java or Python.
- Develop and operate microservices, including API design, service decomposition, timeouts, retries, idempotency, and dead-letter queues.
- Build and maintain AWS integrations using API Gateway, SQS, SNS, S3, and RDS, and troubleshoot production issues across services and infrastructure.
- Create architecture artifacts such as service boundaries, data flows, sequence diagrams, and architecture decision records.
- Analyze large datasets and create visualizations and reporting to improve applications, coding hygiene, and system architecture.
- Design components of a digital asset custody platform, including signing pipeline services, policy evaluation engines, and chain adapter integrations.
- Architect, deploy, and manage applications using AWS cloud services throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Lead adoption of authorized AI-assisted engineering tools for code review, refactoring, testing, and incident root-cause analysis.
- Establish validation standards for secure coding, peer review, automated testing, and responsible AI use.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and technology-focused events.
Requirements
- Formal software engineering training or certification and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, operational stability, modern programming languages, and database querying languages.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, application resiliency, security, and agile delivery practices.
- Knowledge of technical disciplines such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile technology.
- Experience with digital asset or financial services platforms, including transaction lifecycles, key management concepts, or custody workflows.
- Experience architecting and building with AWS cloud services.
- Experience leading approved AI-assisted software development practices, including coding, code review, test acceleration, troubleshooting, and validation of AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience coaching engineers on safe and compliant adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices.
- Preferred familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
- Preferred blockchain experience, including Ethereum or other EVM-compatible networks.
- Preferred experience with advanced pipeline design and optimization and Terraform infrastructure-as-code practices.
