Responsibilities
- Design, build, execute, and maintain automated backend, UI, API, and non-functional system verification tests.
- Create test strategies and cases, perform requirements analysis, execute manual and automated testing, troubleshoot issues, and report defects.
- Build, configure, patch, and maintain multiple test environments within CI/CD pipelines.
- Gather functional requirements and data to drive quality practices and ensure products meet established requirements and standards.
- Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, and international cross-functional teams on status updates and problem solving.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2–3 years of work experience.
- High-level scripting skills in Python, Perl, and Shell scripting.
- Proficiency with Linux and Windows environments and experience maintaining Windows, Linux, and UNIX servers.
- System administration, configuration management, networking, server virtualization, and source-control experience.
- Understanding of manual and automated testing practices, automation tool building, and test automation frameworks.
- Experience with SQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, VMware, vSphere, CVS, Subversion, or Git.
- Knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, TCP/IP, and SNMP.
