Responsibilities

Set up and continuously develop the KION Cyber Defense Center.
Handle cyber security incidents and conduct client triage and forensic analyses of cyber-attacks.
Participate in the Cyber Security on-call schedule for the KION Group.
Write programs and scripts using Java, Python, and other languages.
Use SOAR products to automate security incidents and develop automated SOC playbooks.
Develop and integrate security detection methods for Azure, AWS, and GCP environments.
Evaluate security logs and distinguish malicious from benign activity.
Analyze and implement information security, risk management, and privacy practices.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent experience, in a related IT field; cyber security focus preferred.
3–5 years of experience in security operations or a cyber defense center.
Proficient programming skills, particularly in Python.
Deep knowledge of IT security, including firewalls, EDR, IDS/IPS, SOAR, detection engineering, forensics, and threat hunting.
Familiarity with SOAR automation and playbook development for SOC operations.
Broad understanding of modern IT infrastructure.
Knowledge of security classification frameworks such as MITRE and the cyber-attack kill chain.
Preferred certifications include OSCP, Splunk or ELK engineer/architect, CISSP, and GIAC credentials such as GSEC, GEVA, or GPEN.
Ability to travel up to 10%, including internationally.
