Responsibilities

  • Architect and validate end-to-end reference architectures for enterprise-scale AI platforms, including Dell AI Factory, rack-scale systems, and modular GPU clusters.
  • Evaluate frontier model architectures and reasoning paradigms, including dense Transformers, Mixture-of-Experts, hybrid attention, and multimodal models.
  • Design and automate performance benchmarking pipelines for inference workloads and metrics such as TTFT, ITL, prefill/decode disaggregation, KV-cache offload, and FP8/FP4 quantization.
  • Design autonomous agentic execution patterns, tool calling, execution loops, and multi-agent systems.
  • Integrate high-throughput data pipelines, context-grounding platforms, federated SQL, vector indexing, and RAG architectures.
  • Architect high-throughput storage and network fabrics, confidential-computing protections, and hardware-anchored zero-trust security for enterprise AI.
  • Deploy, optimize, and evaluate production inference-serving frameworks.
  • Architect resilient containerized AI environments using Kubernetes platforms, operators, and schedulers.
  • Assess customer requirements, develop geographically appropriate blueprints, and provide customer and partner project/program leadership.
  • Track industry capabilities, assess competition, develop technology and product strategies, and identify acquisition or vendor-partner opportunities.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of professional experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering; an advanced degree is highly preferred.
  • Deep technical understanding of GPU architectures and emerging alternate accelerators, including matching model workloads to hardware.
  • Experience with production storage and high-speed data fabrics for continuous AI pipelines.
  • Experience designing confidential computing, zero-trust security, and data-in-use protection for sensitive models and regulated data.
  • Experience deploying and optimizing production-grade AI inference-serving frameworks and enterprise Kubernetes infrastructure.
  • Understanding of frontier models, autonomous agents, multi-agent systems, data/context platforms, and AI performance benchmarking.
  • Ability to travel and assess customer requirements, develop customer-specific blueprints, and lead customer and partner projects or programs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Benefits

  • Full-time role with Dell Technologies’ ISG-CTO team in Santa Clara, California.
  • Travel is required or expected for the role.
