Software Engineer III - Asset & Wealth Management Technology

- Designs and delivers secure, stable, scalable software solutions for Asset Management Technology trading systems.
- Develops, reviews, debugs, and maintains high-quality production code using modern programming languages.
- Designs, develops, and maintains scalable microservices.
- Identifies and automates recurring issue remediation to improve application and system operational stability.
- Analyzes large and diverse datasets to produce visualizations and reporting that drive continuous improvement.
- Uses data insights to identify problems and improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and emerging-technology events.
- Guides responsible and secure use of AI-assisted software development tools within team practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using Java and/or Python.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable microservices.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Experience with enterprise CI/CD tooling and source control platforms such as Bitbucket or GitHub.
- Practical cloud-native experience.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating, validating, and refining their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Preferred experience with Site Reliability Engineering and/or DevOps, cloud technologies, and financial models.
