Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, researchers, traders, and platform teams to build and improve business-critical systems.
- Build automation for operations, deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
- Evaluate and implement tools that balance performance, complexity, and maintainability.
- Own and evolve the observability stack covering metrics, logs, tracing, and alerts.
- Participate in the on-call rotation, lead incident response, and drive improvement through postmortems and root cause analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a strongly related field.
- Strong Python programming skills and a deep understanding of computer science fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix systems in production environments.
- A proven track record designing and delivering scalable systems in production environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to code clarity, documentation, and reducing technical debt.
- Preferred experience with Terraform, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, Kubernetes, Docker, or ECS.
- Preferred knowledge of low-latency systems, trading environments, market data, or exchange protocols.
