Base Salary
$144k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and operate maintainable software features for Amazon WorkSpaces.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional AWS partners to define scalable technical solutions.
- Diagnose operational issues and implement permanent fixes that improve system reliability and performance.
- Coach engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
- Evaluate technologies and approaches to improve WorkSpaces scalability, security, and developer productivity.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience contributing to architecture and design of new and existing systems.
Benefits
- Base salary ranges from $143,700 to $194,400 annually in Seattle and $165,200 to $223,600 annually in Sunnyvale.

- The compensation package may also include sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
