Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in architecture-level discussions, planning, and implementation.
- Research, design, develop, and support enterprise products, infrastructure, applications, and processes.
- Maintain system capacity and performance and troubleshoot and improve services.
- Document projects to share knowledge and facilitate user integration.
- Drive proofs of concept and minimum viable products for demonstrations.
- Support services before launch through system design consulting, platform and framework development, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Sales, and open-source communities on relevant solutions and share knowledge.
- Design and guide solutions for ambiguous requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
- At least 10 years of experience writing software in Go, Python, Scala, or similar languages.
- Extensive experience with Go, Pulumi, Kubernetes, and related engineering technologies.
- Strong understanding and demonstrated mastery of Linux and cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ability to derive solutions from high-level or incomplete requirements and troubleshoot and improve applications and processes.
- High-performance or scientific computing experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment and support an on-call rotation.
- Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, learning, and collaboration skills.
